Nikki Silk… Australian Modern Pointillism Artist

Nikki Silk is an Australian Modern Pointillism Artist, intuitive creator, and spiritual creative known for creating striking, energy-infused artworks using pre-loved and reclaimed canvases and frames.

Each artwork is created through a deeply intuitive process, guided by dreams, meditation, emotion, spiritual connection, and inspiration gathered during Nikki’s travels across Australia. Rather than working from sketches or formal plans, she allows each piece to unfold organically, trusting intuition and energy to guide the creative journey.

Inspired by her French heritage and the Pointillism technique pioneered by Georges Seurat, Nikki has reimagined this dot-based art form into a modern, expressive style that blends spirituality, emotion, energy, and storytelling.

Nature remains one of Nikki’s greatest muses, particularly the Australian landscapes, coastlines, sunsets, and earthy tones she encountered during her years travelling the country as a photographer. Her colour palettes reflect both the grounding beauty of nature and the emotional energy behind each piece.

Each artwork is designed to be felt just as deeply as it is seen - carrying emotion, intention, energy, and the quiet whispers of the universe into the spaces they live in.

Nikki is available to take on a limited number of custom artwork commissions each year.

Reduce, Reuse & Recycle – Frames, Canvases & Paints

Sustainability and conscious living are values that have always been deeply important to me, and I do my best to incorporate the principles of the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse & Recycle – not only into my personal life, but also throughout my creative process and business practices.

All of the canvases and frames that I use for my artworks are thoughtfully sourced from second-hand markets, Facebook Marketplace, op shops, garage sales, and tip shops. I’m also incredibly grateful to receive gifted pre-loved canvases and frames from neighbours, businesses, family, friends, and members of my local community who would rather see these beautiful items reused than end up discarded.

When it comes to paints, I also love sourcing unique colours and supplies from second-hand markets, clearance sections, and “ooooops, I chose the wrong colour” paint pots from my local Hardware store that might otherwise go to waste. I love the challenge and creativity that comes from giving overlooked materials a completely new life and purpose.

For me, there’s something incredibly meaningful about transforming pre-loved and forgotten items into intentional, energy-infused artworks filled with beauty, emotion, and creativity. Not only does this help reduce unnecessary landfill, but in many cases it also allows me to support amazing local charities through my purchases from community op shops & markets.

Every artwork carries not only its own unique energy and story, but also the spirit of renewal, creativity, and conscious creation behind the materials themselves.
